As the film progresses, it changes from a fun and light-hearted tone to a more serious story, which makes it a bit confusing. The story revolves around various characters of Sri Vishnu who are trying to get the inheritance, shifting the focus from being entertaining to addressing gender equality.
The main point is that Sri Vishnu appears in multiple roles in almost every scene. While his characters Vibhuti and the police officer have some interesting parts, other roles seem flat and less appealing.
Although Sri Vishnu gives a strong performance, at times it seems that he is copying Kamal Haasan’s style from Dashavataram. The film’s songs don’t add much to the story, and the subplot with Sri Vishnu’s character, Singa, and Daksha Nagarkar seems unimportant.
In short, Swag has a good idea and showcases Mr. Vishnu’s impressive skills in playing four different characters. However, it ends up being an average movie. Even with its unique story, the overall flow isn’t as engaging as it could be.
