Heropanti 2 (Heroic Antics 2) is a 2022 Hindi action film directed by Ahmed Khan, written by Rajat Arora and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It is a sequel to the 2014 film Heropanti. The film stars Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tara Sutaria. It was released in theaters on 29 April 2022 and began streaming on Amazon Prime Video on 27 May 2022.
The story is about Bablu Ranaut, a brilliant hacker, who is tasked to stop Laila, the mastermind behind the world’s biggest cybercrime. Will Babloo be able to stop him in time? Heropanti 2 is about a man who helps people at night, then he saves them from robbery or kidnapping.

Movie Review
Bablu is back with his Heropanti, bringing double the action, big muscles and those famous six-pack abs. Bablu is a one-man army on a mission to eliminate cybercriminals and save the world. Though the story is predictable, Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti 2 has plenty to offer action packed movies to the fans. Directed by Ahmed Khan, who worked with Tiger Shroff in the Baaghi series, the film focuses on jaw-dropping stunts and thrilling action rather than plot. After the interval, the movie kicks into high gear with daring stunts, surprising twists and explosive scenes that will keep you entertained.
The first half feels a bit uneven and it can take some time to get into the groove. However, the highlight is the action sequences choreographed by Ram Chella-Laxman Chella, Parvez Shaikh and Kecha Khamfkadi. In a spectacular scene Bablu and his phone also survive a massive explosion, which shows the film’s wild imagination. Rajat Arora’s writing starts strong but loses steam, becoming a bit over-the-top as the story tries too hard to be larger than life.
The villain, Laila, is a cybercriminal and part-time magician who conspires to defraud the Indian government. To stop Bablu, the CBI has arrested him. But since Laila is always ahead, the big question is, will Bablu be able to catch her? And will Inaya Saran (played by Tara Sutaria), a self-made billionaire and Laila’s sister, complicate things for Bablu? Or is it all a trap? The story keeps revealing layers of suspense, keeping the audience curious. The movie’s stunts are inspired by Hollywood hits like Mission Impossible and Fast and Furious, giving it an international feel.
The film’s witty dialogues add to the humor, and the non-stop action keeps the energy alive. Tiger Shroff’s powerful presence and thrilling stunts are a treat to watch. His iconic line, “Sabko Aati Nahi, Meri Jaati Nahi,” fits his character perfectly. Tara Sutaria mainly adds glamor to the movie and nothing else. It’s hard to imagine her running in high heels during intense action scenes. Although Tiger and Tara look good together, they lack the chemistry to make their pairing memorable. On the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui shines as the villainous Laila, impressing everyone with his brilliant performance. Amrita Singh adds humor to the story by bringing light moments.
When it comes to music, A.R. Rahman’s score adds to the drama, though the songs seem out of place at times. The most exciting track, “Whistle Baja 2.0” appears at the end of the film. Tiger also makes his singing debut with “Miss Hairan” which surprises the fans. Like any general entertainer, Heropanti 2 has a mix of action, drama, romance, music and spectacular visuals. While the story is nothing special, the action sequences steal the show, giving Tiger Shroff fans plenty to cheer about.
