Double iSmart is a Telugu science fiction action movie released in 2024. It was directed by Puri Jagannadh, who also co-produced it with Charmi Kaur under the Puri Connects banner. The film is a sequel to iSmart Shankar and stars Ram Pothi in the lead role. Sanjay Dutt, in his debut Telugu film Ali, also stars in an important role along with Kavya Thapar, Sayaji Shinde and Bani J.
The music was composed by Mani Sharma, while the cinematography was by Ginny Giannelli and Shyam K. Naidu took over. Karthika Srinivas edited the film.
The film was released on August 15, 2024 to celebrate Indian Independence Day. However, it received mostly negative reviews and did not do well at the box office.
The story revolves around Big Bull, a dangerous killer who wants to live forever. He plans to transfer his memories to “iSmart” Shankar, a man who already has someone else’s memories in his mind. This leads to an exciting clash between Shankar and Big Bull, full of action and drama.

Story:
Jannath, a young woman who has just moved from Delhi to Hyderabad, catches the eye of iSmart Shankar (Ram). Shankar finds her charming and starts flirting with her. But behind his playful attitude, Shankar has a serious mission. He wants to bring a dangerous mafia don Big Bull (Sanjay Dutt) back to India. Shankar has a personal reason for this – he wants to avenge the murder of his mother Pochamma (Jhansi).
On the other hand, Big Bull is battling a life-threatening brain tumor. To escape death, he comes up with a shocking plan. He decides to transfer all his memories into someone else’s mind, hoping to live forever and continue to pursue his grandiose ambitions. Big Bull’s team starts searching for a suitable person for this experiment.
After much searching, they choose iSmart Shankar as the best candidate for memory transfer. Now, both Shankar and Big Bull are chasing each other – one for revenge and the other for escape.
What happens if the memory transfer is successful? Will Shankar lose himself and fail to get justice for his mother, or will he find a way to stop Big Bull’s dangerous plan?
