Chandu Champion Plot Overview
Chandu Champion is based on the inspiring life of Muralikant Petkar, a story full of courage and determination. The movie follows Tiger Ali’s journey from a sheltered difficult childhood to becoming a talented boxer, where he is ridiculed for dreaming of winning a medal.
It also highlights his time in the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, where he suffered a severe injury that left him paralyzed below the knee. Despite all these challenges, Petkar overcame his struggles and made India proud by winning the Paralympic gold medal in the 50-metre freestyle swimming event.
