Chota KCR: The Journey of Keshav Chandra Ramavat
Keshavchandra Ramavat (KCR) is a youth from Rangabai Tanda in Narsampeta mandal of Warangal district. He became a fan of Chief Minister KCR since childhood after listening to his powerful speeches during the Telangana movement. Everyone in the tanda fondly calls him Chota KCR. Coming from a poor tribal family, Keshavchandra works hard to support and improve his family.
A girl from the same village, Mardalu Manju (Ananya Krishnan) falls in love with Keshavchandra and their families agree to get them married. However, Keshavchandra rejects Manju after listening to his friends who tell him that marrying an educated urban girl will improve his family’s financial condition. This decision angers his uncle Bhimalanayak (Maa Madhu).
Dream of Meeting KCR
Meanwhile, Keshavchandra gets close to an Assamese girl from his village, but continues to dream big. He decides to go to Hyderabad to meet Chief Minister KCR and convince him to attend his wedding. Determined, he sets out for Hyderabad, facing many challenges on the way. Meanwhile, his hometown faces a major problem due to the ring road project that may harm his village. How does Keshavchandra deal with this problem? Does he succeed in bringing KCR to Rangabai Tanda? And finally, whom does Keshavchandra marry- Manju or someone else? The story progresses with these entertaining and emotional moments, showing Keshavchandra’s determination, love and loyalty towards his family and village.

The film is being planned with a budget of Rs 20 crore and we are working on raising funds for this important project,” said Madhura Sreedhar. “The script is already complete. Since KCR is now a national leader, we aim to make it a pan-India film.

Jabardast Rakesh to debut as lead actor in KCR
Popular TV actor Jabardast Rakesh is making headlines as the lead hero in the upcoming drama KCR (Keshava Chandra Ramavat). Interestingly, Rakesh is not only acting but has also written and produced the film.
The trailer of the film was launched at a grand event on Saturday with actress Anasuya Bharadwaj present as the chief guest, adding to the celebrations.
The film is directed by noted cinematographer ‘Garudavega’ Anji with music composed by Charan Arjun and edited by Madhu.
