The film was released on November 3, 2023, with only 12 shows across the country. It is said that the film was released incompletely due to budget issues, rains in Uttarakhand and non-production of additional shoots. The production team had to do a lot of editing and added voiceovers.

The Lady Killer: Review & Plot
The Lady Killer is about a man who gets caught in a difficult situation. Rajendra Joshi (Arjun Kapoor) runs a drug store in Nainital and wants to open a diagnostic center. However, the bank will not give him a loan because he has a bad credit history. He is also seeing Gajra (Priyanka Bose), who is married.
One day, Rajendra’s police friend Rawat (Deepak Tokas) introduces him to Vikram Burman (SM Zaheer), who now lives in Nainital and wants to start a hospital. Rajendra sees this as a good opportunity and visits Vikram’s large house, where he meets Vikram’s daughter Jancy (Bhumi Pednekar). Rajendra starts liking Jensi and is heartbroken when he realizes that Vikram is bothering him. In a desperate move, they plan to get rid of Vikram. What happens next is the main story of the film.
Ajay Bahl, Pawan Soni and Mayank Tiwari’s story has an interesting vibe similar to James Hadley Chase’s novel. However his screenplay does not work well especially in the second half. The dialogues penned by Ajay Bahl, Pawan Soni and Mayank Tiwari seem quite ordinary.
Ajay Bahl’s direction is disappointing. He can handle some scenes in the first half well, like when Rajendra and Jancy meet for the first time, the couple decides to commit murder, the moment before intermission and the day of the murder.
Unfortunately, the film goes downhill after that. Instead of giving exciting and tense moments, it leaves the audience anxious and confused about what is happening. There are gaps in the story; For example, the part about Rajendra’s ex-girlfriend is not explained well, we wonder why it is included. Also, it is unclear why an overdose of insulin does not work as expected. After all, it is surprising that the police could not find the fleeing lovers despite several phone calls.
